Hello!
I’m a UX & Product designer with 8+ years of experience.
I consider myself a structured, creative, and detail-oriented leader with the ability to strive in multidisciplinary and fast-paced teams.
How it all started
What is an electrical engineer doing as a UX designer?
Turns out that after graduating college, none of the jobs available for a recent electrical engineering grad sounded like a good fit for me. I moved on to pursue an engineering management masters degree, and I ended up getting a job at a small consulting firm that focused on process improvement. As I took on a diverse range of responsibilities, I ended up designing the user interface for my employer's proprietary software solution.
It wasn't long before I started learning from users, venturing into prototyping, defining design standards, understanding design implications on the development efforts, and ultimately expanding my knowledge on how to enable great user experiences.
This career path has taught me to be very flexible and to take every situation as an opportunity to learn and grow. I look forward to the challenges coming ahead. User experience and product design is what I really enjoy doing.
